Why DeliverPointWe started from the complaints
Before building DeliverPoint we read about 450 public reviews and complaints about route planners, delivery apps and parcel tracking — from app stores, review sites and forums. These are the problems people report most, each with a short quote, and what DeliverPoint does about it.
Drivers
The problem
The app crashes or logs out mid-route and the stops are gone — the driver types 40 to 150 addresses again.
“Twice now, I've entered 40-50 addresses and it resets so I have to restart.”
What DeliverPoint does
Your route, stops and proof of delivery are stored on the phone itself, not only in the cloud, so a dead zone or an app restart does not wipe your day.

The problem
No signal means no app: the route, the map and the proof screen stop working.
“in low service it gets stuck in cycles of trying and failing to open”
What DeliverPoint does
Keep delivering without signal. Photos, signatures and notes are saved on the phone and synced automatically when you are back online.

The problem
Importing stops is painful: spreadsheets get rejected and addresses have to be fixed by hand.
“when i come to upload a csv it says the spreadsheet contains too many stops.”
What DeliverPoint does
Upload a CSV or Excel file, paste a list or link a Google Sheet. Columns are matched automatically, in English and French, and every address is checked before you leave.
In the DeliverPoint app (early access)
The problem
The paywall appears only after the driver has typed all the stops, and free plans stop at 8–10 stops.
“Hides the fact you need a subscription until after you've planned the route.”
What DeliverPoint does
The Free plan limit — routes of up to 20 stops — is written on our pricing page before you start. No card is needed for early access.

Dispatchers
The problem
Optimised routes zig-zag and backtrack, as if planned in straight lines.
“it will send you in circles all day, up and down the same street 5 times for 4 stops.”
What DeliverPoint does
Routes are optimised on our own road graph of Canada with real driving times, respecting time windows and priority stops. The live demo runs a real 60-stop Toronto route.

The problem
Pins land on the wrong place and drivers end up at the wrong door.
“it doesn't send the exact address you entered into RoadWarrior to Maps, but rather a range of house or building numbers on the street”
What DeliverPoint does
Every address is checked against our own Canadian address index at import; uncertain matches are listed for you to review instead of being silently guessed.
In the DeliverPoint app (early access)
The problem
Canadian addresses are an afterthought: rural routes, PO boxes and French addresses go wrong.
“Useless in montreal for delivery and buggy application.”
What DeliverPoint does
Address index for all 13 provinces and territories from Statistics Canada open data. PO boxes and rural routes are never guessed — you place them on the map. App and recipient page in Canadian French.
In the DeliverPoint app (early access)Recipients
The problem
Recipients need an app or an account to track a parcel, and the status freezes for hours.
“only an option to sign in with no option to make a new account.”
What DeliverPoint does
A private link that opens in any browser — no app, no account. It shows the arrival window, how many stops are before you and, when the driver is close, the driver on the map. It updates live.

Courier companies
The problem
A free trial quietly turns into a paid or yearly charge, and cancelling is hard.
“I deleted my Subscription over a Month ago, and I'm still being charged to my account!”
What DeliverPoint does
No card for early access and no paid plan is open yet. The 14-day Pro trial ends on the Free plan unless you choose Pro — it never turns into a charge by itself.

The problem
Prices hide add-ons: per-task fees, and tracking or proof of delivery sold as extras.
“to use the "arrived option" button, you would need to pay for the higher tier subscription”
What DeliverPoint does
No per-stop, per-task or per-order fees on any plan, because maps and routing run on our own servers. Recipient tracking and proof of delivery are included in Free.
